FHA COMMISSIONS POLICE POST IN LUGBE
Desirous of the security of lives and properties of residents, and as part of FHA'S Corporate Social Responsibility, the Managing Director and Chief Executive , Senator Gbenga Ashafa, Wednesday 10th of August, 2022, commission and handed over a Police Post in Lugbe to the Nigeria Police.
In a ceremony attended by the representative of the FCT Police Commissioner, ACP MB Magawata, accompanied by the Lugbe Divisional Police Officer CSP UC Ugochukwu, Senator Ashafa stated that security in the Authority's estates is always a priority to Management at all times.
According to him " whether there is threat or not, security of our estates is always a priority to us" Security is a serious business at this point in Nigeria " he added. He thereafter reassured the Police and other security agencies of synergy and more collaboration in ensuring maximum security in the Authority's estates.
Senator Ashafa reiterated that the entire Lugbe estate belongs to the Authority, and boasts of other well manned and equipped Police stations.
He commended the Force Authority in Lugbe estate for the good job they are doing, especially their swift response time.
In his response, ACP MB Magawata, representing the FCT Commissioner of Police, thanked Management and staff of the Authority for supporting the security agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari. He further promised that immediate redeployment of personnel to man the post.
In his brief remarks, the Lugbe Divisional Police Officer, CSP UC Ugochukwu while appreciating the Authority's good gestures, solicited management's assistance in furnishing the station.
Present in the occasion were the Executive Director (Project Implementation), Engr. Sam Chinonso Omoke, ED (Estate Services), Hauwa Babakobi, ED(Finance) Adama Kure, Ag. ED (Management Services) Paul Uyeh, GM(Partnership and Zonal Coordination) Hajara Kadiri, MD FHA Mortgage Bank Ltd, Awwal Hayatudeen, DGM (Partnership and SA Technical to the MD/CE), Arc. Peter Okpanachi and other management staff.
