The Management of Federal Housing Authority has reaffirmed the decision to commission the Authority’s estate in Bwari by December 2024.

This position was re - stated by the Managing Director and Chief Executive, Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, July 25th, 2024, when he undertook an inspection of the project site.

Accompanied by the Executive Director Project Implementation, Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye, the Chief Executive, said he came to have a firsthand Information of the challenges faced by the contractors on site.

Hon Ojo, during the inspection, commended

TONY NAS GLOBAL CONCEPTS LTD, one of the contractors for the good job he is doing and called on the other contractors to emulate him.

The MD projected the building works in the site to be around 60 to 65 percent completion, while the infrastructure is at about 30 percent. In his words," we the new management team is working hard to keep to December timeline for the commissioning, and we will make sure that all contractors would be mobilized back to site." He, however, added that contractors that fall short of the expected pace and standard will be black listed.

Hon Ojo explained that what made work to stop on site was the high rate of inflation in the country. He said that it became necessary and expedient for management to review the terms of the contracts to enable work to resume on the site.

Commending the staff, Hon. Ojo praised their efforts and dedication despite all the odds.

The MD/CE reiterated management's decision to service the estate with standard infrastructure that would give comfort to Nigerians that would live in the estate.
