FHA HOLDS MANAGEMENT/STAFF RETREAT IN KADUNA.

In furtherance to the ongoing repositioning of the Authority, a retreat has been held for both management and staff of the Authority, from 19th to 21st of July 2024.

The retreat, which was declared open by the Kaduna state governor, His Excellency Senator Uba Sani, represented by the Deputy governor Mrs Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, was attended by the Managing Director/ Chief Executive, and the Executive Directors.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Hon Oyetunde Ojo, during his remarks, noted that it became expedient to hold the retreat at the management level in view of the urgent need to re- orientate staff in line with the new FHA management is building. The M D emphasized attitudinal change that would evolve new work ethics, which is needed for the Authority to grow.

Hon Ojo reminded staff that it is only through dedication, hard work, and commitment that the expected increase in staff welfare would be achieved.

The Renewed Hope Housing Programme of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), he noted, is an opportunity for self-rediscovery to the Authority, which has to be maximally utilized.

He encouraged management members present to take the lessons back to their subordinates and colleagues in the office and to start leading the immediate change.

The retreat saw 10 papers delivered by eminent scholars and professionals, covering every part of the built industry.
